Etirama: "Our goal is to be leaders in the Peruvian market"

To date, Etirama has 10 equipment installed in Peru and "more are coming," said Ronnie Schröter, commercial and marketing director of the company.

He stated that the target of his represented is to install at least six equipment each year in the Peruvian market, he also assured that in 2017 a equipment of his firm has been installed in April and two more in June. "This is an expectant goal because our objective is to be leaders in the Peruvian market," he said.

He also stressed that after Brazil and Argentina, Peru is the most relevant market for Etirama in the region.

Forpack is the exclusive representative of Etirama in Peru, as well as in Colombia and Ecuador. "Orlando Esteves, director of Forpack, knows the flexographic market and the customers, he has worked with us for 15 years and we trust him," said Schröter.

Etirama is the Brazilian manufacturer of narrow band flexographic presses for the segment of self-adhesive and heat shrinkable labels.

According to Ronnie Schröter, its representative is the largest producer of flexographic machines in Latin America and in Brazil are the leaders in the market in sales of this equipment. "We expect to be the leader in sales in our segment in Latin America as of 2018. Russia is our second most important country market (more than 60 equipment installed). Likewise, we have presence in other countries of Europe and Asia. We are waiting to install our machinery in the United States and Canada, "he said.

Future of flexography
In a conversation with Plast Peru News, Etirama's commercial director said that his company has the same quality as the largest flexographic presses manufacturers in Europe and the United States due to strategic alliances with companies from these geographical regions. "In addition, we offer our customers more attractive and affordable prices," he emphasized.

On the other hand, he argued that in the field of the graphic industry the two technologies that are most developed in the world are digital and flexography. This last segment is in full growth. "For example, the companies manufacturing offset machines are acquiring firms that make flexographic equipment. Such is the case of the Gallus Group that was bought by the Heidelberg Group ", warned the interviewee.

He pointed out that the offset and continuous forms of business are migrating to flexo technology, so "in Peru, there is much prospecting for the future of the emerging narrowband flexographic printing market for labels."

"For our part, we provide modern machinery, UV drying technology, short runs and interesting costs," said Schröter, who declared our digital news during the "Innovation 2017" event, recently held by Etirama in Lima where the manufacturer presented the latest advances in the development of flexographic printing.
