The formulations are RoHS compliant, with a wide range of applications in polyolefin (PE, PP, copolymers), homo styrene and copolymers (GPPS, HIPS, ABS, SAN), as well as engineering thermoplastic resins, polyamides, PET / PBT, PC, silicone, PVC, etc.

Flame retardant d2p characteristics

• Composition: patented mixture of active ingredients for the retardation of the flame in a suitable polymeric resin.
• Masterbatch color: White.
• Mechanism: Steam inhibition phase. During combustion, flame retardant additives react with the polymer before burning in the phase of vapor alteration, at a molecular level, the production of free radicals and closes the combustion process.
• Applications of flame retardant d2p technology: Household appliances, furniture and textiles, plastic products for the automotive and aviation sector, paints and emulsions, electrical cables, printed circuit board connectors, plastic furniture, and many more.
• Addition rate: Between 3 and 10% (depending on certification requirements).
