ResPeru, a representative of Symphony Environmental UK (A British Public Company), a global specialist in "make smart plastic" products and technologies, announces to the Peruvian market that the governments of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have arranged that all plastic products manufactured locally and imported must be exclusively oxo-biodegradable.

These measures established by both Asian countries comprise a wide range of plastic products manufactured as bags, packaging films, agricultural films, among others. In this way, great changes in the world's conservation continue to take place in the world, and it is also recognized that oxo-biodegradable plastic contributes significantly to the care of the environment.

Among the plastic products included in these governmental provisions of these countries are bags (for courier and envelopes, newspapers and magazines, and for soil treatment, agricultural and horticultural applications, and seedlings and stems of agriculture), wraps (plastic bubble Packaging and shock absorber packagings, flowers), covers for secondary packaging, polyethylene sheets such as table covers, shrink plastic palletizing, and plastic cardboard lining.

In addition, the regulations (obligatory since May 14) include personal care products (gloves, shoe covers, aprons, etc.), tablecloths, packaging bags (bread, nuts, sweets and bakery items), bags for A single use (including shopping bags, garbage, clothes, food utensils like plates, spoons and cups).

Any product exported to Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates must be packaged in oxo-degradable plastic, according to regulations of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) and the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA).

The executive said that importers and exporters of plastics in Peru, with the additive d2w, will be able to market their products in Saudi Arabia, a market with a per capita income of US $ 25.000 per year and with 36 million inhabitants.
