Every two years, one of the most important trade fairs in the country's packaging sector, in the Andean Region, Central America and the Caribbean: Andina Pack, takes place in Bogotá, Colombia. This year, in its fourteenth edition, will be organized by the German company Koelnmesse, in conjunction with the International Business and Exhibition Center of Bogotá, Corferias, which will undoubtedly mark an important step towards the internationalization of it.

Given this scenario, the fair evolved in response to the needs of the global industry, turning efficiency, innovation and sustainability into the fundamental axes that, from November 7 to 10, will bring together all the players in the sector's production chain.

Andina Pack 2017 will bring together businessmen from the packaging industry of raw materials, transformation and printing materials and packaging. These axes include the coding and labeling of the product, and the related to its distribution and storage.

Undoubtedly, the protagonists will be the final containers such as bags and boxes and any material that is used for packaging. But they will also be accompanied by the machinery used in the process of storage and handling of materials, which will include logistics services and final product transfer.

Some of the topics that will make up the academic agenda will be energy efficiency, intelligent and biodegradable packaging, food safety and food safety, as well as regulation of packaging piracy.

Andina Pack 2017 will once again show itself as the leading trade show in packaging technology in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Central America and the Caribbean, where the entire productive chain of the sector will be present.
